Profilplåt had clear goals for what they wanted to achieve with SEO:

1. To appear at the top when someone searches for 'profilplåt', as Google had completely removed them from search results.

2. To appear at the top when someone searches for 'buy roof Sundsvall, buy sheet metal Sundsvall, replace roof Sundsvall' and similar searches.

3. To keep Google happy over the long term so they wouldn't be banned again.

The Website

The website needed to do four things very well:

Website Migration

Profilplåt had issues with their old website for several years. It was slow, not mobile-friendly, difficult to update, and had lost its Google rankings over time.

To solve these issues, we decided to migrate the website to a new platform, Webflow. This would make it easier for them to update the site without worrying about something breaking.

They were tired of all the problems with WordPress plugins and updates on their old website, so they thought switching platforms was a good idea. The result was very successful.

During the migration, we focused on three key steps:

1. Collecting and structuring information from the existing website.

2. Matching URLs and planning redirects.

3. Migrating content and other website data.
